LxSix Photonics develops and produces high-quality, cost-effective and reliable telecommunications components and optical sensors solutions for the oil and gas, process and control, security and intrusion and structural integrity markets. Based on one technology (optical sensors), one platform and many types of sensors (FBG – Fiber Bragg Grating – and others), the applications include temperature monitoring, mechanical sensing, perimeter protection and integrity monitoring.
What’s in a name?
“Lx” stands for lux, a measure of the intensity of light. “Six” refers to Six Sigma continuous improvement, part of our process since the beginning. LxSix: integrating the speed of light with the power of quality.
